"As you reach out to your Heavenly Father, as you pray to Him in the name of Christ, He will answer you. He speaks to us everywhere. As you read God's word recorded in the scriptures, listen for His voice. As you visit the temple and attend Church meetings, listen for His voice. Listen for the voice of the Father in the bounties and beauties of nature, in the gentle whisperings of the Spirit. In your daily interactions with others, in the words of a hymn, in the laughter of a child, listen for His voice. If you listen for the voice of the Father, He will lead you on a course that will allow you to experience the pure love of Christ."

Happy Thought of the Week........
"We believe that one virtuous (young) woman, led by the Spirit, can change the world. We have observed young women doing what they believe is right, standing as witnesses, living the gospel standards, and truly making a difference. If is amazing what one young woman can accomplish when she is virtuous, listens to the still, small voice of the Holy Ghost, and then acts! This year, believe. Believe you are a daughter of Heavenly Father, who loves you and will help you. Believe in the Savior Jesus Christ. He is your light. He is your hope. He is your exemplar and Redeemer. Believe in yourself! All together we can seek after those things that are virtuous, lovely, and praiseworthy. All together we can make a difference in our world."

Happy Thought of the Week........
"Your future is not determined by the conditions around you. It is determined by your faith, your choices, and your efforts. Yes you live in challenging times, but so did Mary, Moroni, and Joseph Smith. You don't have to be carried along in the current of the times. The Lord can help you as you move forward with your life. Each of you has a bright future, a future you cannot now fully comprehend."

New Year!
It's a New Year! Hopefully I can keep up a little better with things that need to be posted! Couple of things to note: We have a Stake Service Night Wednesday January 19th! We will be putting together a LOT of hygiene kits so we welcome all the help we can get! (Young Women, friends, etc are welcome!) Details regarding where and what time will be coming soon!
Also the Primary Presidency would like all the Primary aged youth to read the Book of Mormon this year so if you could encourage/help your children to read the following website www.ldsscripturetools.com can help you achieve this goal!
In Sunday School this year we will be studying the New Testament and you can pick the class member study guide from the bishops office so that if you can't join us you can follow along!
Please remember to do your visiting teaching early in the month and let the Relief Society presidency know if you are in need of assistance or have a concern about your families!
Also, I would like this blog to be something that all can participate in! If you have any announcements, good news, spiritual thoughts, testimonies or needs please contact me and we can get it posted! Any suggestions for our little blog here would also be appreciated and welcome....just chat with me at church or email/call me!
