Wednesday, November 10th @ 6:30pm. DI Drive. Please put out gently used and clean items that will be useful for winter! Also be sure to turn your porch lights on so the pick-up people can see that you have placed things there! Also, be aware that anything you would like to donate to the Bishop's Night will need to be delivered BY YOU and designated as such (by verbally informing the dock workers or by pinning a note to the bag/box).
Tuesday, November 16th @ 6pm in the Gym. Night of Service for the Christmas Bishop's Night. This time of year is the time that we recognize the needs of others and we hope that you will join us to make some other individuals Christmas a little brighter. We will be making more pillowcases to donate as well as painting some toy cars. We are in need of some material for the pillowcases if you are able.
1 yard for a plain pillowcase
2/3 yard, 1/3 yard and 1/8 yard for a pillowcase with a decorative cuff.
Also, if you are able/willing bring your sewing machines!
If you are anything like me and are not quite the proficient sewer we have other acts of service for you!!! We need cutters, pinners (not a word by the way), and painters! So there will be something for everyone PLUS REFRESHMENTS and FUN! What more could you ask for? :)
